BOOTSnCATS is an online course that helps youth in speech therapy stay engaged and reach their therapeutic goals by learning how to beatbox. It can also help children who do not qualify for speech services or only get 30 minutes per week to strengthen their speech and communication skills through beatboxing.

Learning to beatbox motivates your clients or child to attend, imitate, and practice speech sounds with a fun and engaging activity in the classroom or at home.

BOOTSnCATS was created in partnership with a certified speech therapist. The method has been validated by peer-reviewed clinical research (Icht, 2019) and has been taught via in-person group classes since 2017.

BOOTSnCATS has 10 video lessons covering everything your client or child needs to address the most common speech difficulties. Every lesson includes practice videos and an original "Recital" audio track, which encourage practice at different speeds.

BOOTSnCATS also comes with a user guide that shows you exactly how to integrate beatboxing into your speech therapy practice or how to use it as a fun at-home activity.

We made two versions of BOOTSnCATS, depending on your needs. BOOTSnCATS for SLPs and BOOTSnCATS for Home include the same curriculum for children. The difference is how we help you use the course.

‍BOOTSnCATS for SLPs includes a guide that helps speech language pathologists (SLPs) implement beatboxing as an intervention in any speech therapy practice. BOOTSnCATS for Home includes a guide for parents and caregivers to engage your child in beatboxing at home.

Through BOOTSnCATS for SLPs, we also provide access to our accredited Beatboxing for Speech Therapy ASHA CE courses that equip SLPs and allied professionals with more ways to apply beatboxing in their practices.
